The National Payment Law was issued this month – which is a brand new legislation for Oman.
The Omani ambassador to Turkey was appointed as a non-resident ambassador to Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, and new judges were appointed to the Supreme Court.
The staff of the office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation are now subject to the same laws as the staff of the Diwan of Royal Court. The Directorate of Wusta Region at the Ministry of Education was upgraded to the level of a General Directorate.
Public benefit status was granted to the project for the protection dam in Jufainah area in Al-Amerat.
The final royal decree of February granted Omani nationality to a number of individuals.
